You are loading a lot of different things upon what you perceive as 'your side' and finding anything to deflect and defend, and Mr. Bunker is joining in that pursuit.

AS reckless as those manifestations were (without the police even getting involved) it's not relevant to the argument....though you are trying to deflect with irrelevant information.
