I am passionate about what I stand for. I can assure you I'm not exagarating on anything. The things that happened are as I have said. My point on coming on here and posting about it is not to get into arguments or battles of wit with anyone. My Hope's is people see what I'm saying and do their own research if they so choose and maybe realize that while it may seem like something small to alot of people, alot of small things that go unchecked can lead to major crimes. Police are granted limited powers, but given that power corrupts people should always stay vigilant to what they are doing and dont let the seemingly small things slide.
I can understand your skepticism when you yourself may never have been egregiously wronged by the department. But alot of people, myself included find out the hard way there a problems. And for some people when they find out, it's too late. They end up dead. I use to believe and support the police. I use to think police were the good guys. But at one time I was poor and learned that police target people for being poor because they dont have the money to challenge what was done to them. Its telling when a government can claim they are immune from violating rights. The constitution doesnt tell the government shall not be infringed unless said government claims they can infringe. There are bigger problems happening elsewhere, I agree with you all on that. But until I am harmed by those bigger problems, the government says I have no standing to sue to keep it from happening.
That aside in this reply, I hope you and yours stay safe from this corona virus crap. Me, I work full time still as I am deemed an essential employee. We are taking extra precautions every day (which is a pain in the butt but it is to try and prevent us from getting sick from it. I know if I was to get it my chances of survival are low as I already have some semi-severe breathing problems with my asthma. So much so that I've made pre-arranged plans for the future care of my dog in the event I contract it and dont make it. Not something I really like thinking about having to do but my dog is my whole world and I need to know he will he loved and cared for and not passed around because he can really try ones patience sometimes. I truely hope everyone stays safe from this thing. But until my last breath is drawn or I'm to crippled up to do anything I will stand up and speak out on the things I think are worth speaking up about. But honestly, I probably will die before I'm crippled up from a heart attack from fast food cheeseburgers and fries.
