Immediately I saw that pork steaks were available elsewhere, but not like they are around St. Louis. Also, St. Louis has its own unique take on Chinese food...Vin Hoa is probably one example, and some of the more low price restaurants. (I miss my Vin Hoa)...
But now I find out that Stag beer is only available within a radius of St. Louis.
When I grew up in Stag territory, I couldn't stand the beer...but after this annoying craft beer trend, Stag now tastes much better for some reason. It's full bodied, but still honest...not all hopped up and not all fruity. Now that I can't get it regularly, I revisited Stag and have a new appreciation for it.
So now with my stash of Maull's BBQ sauce, Vin Hoa, and a gooey butter cake..... it's also a case of Stag.
