So then itís quite the surprise to learn Pelosi wants the video destroyed.
But for once, Facebook and Twitter refused the leftist request. Pelosi wanted videos taken down, and the social media giants both ruled the videos donít violate any of their policies.
Thatís quite the win for conservatives.
As CNBC reports:
A fierce behind the scenes dispute between Speaker Nancy Pelosiís office and Facebook erupted into public view Friday, as the Speakerís office demanded that Facebook remove a video posted online by President Donald Trump.
The video in question showed Pelosiís viral State of the Union moment ripping up text of the Trumpís speech Tuesday night, but was edited to make it appear that she ripped the speech even as Trump saluted a Tuskegee airman in the audience. In fact, Pelosiís speech ripping gesture came at the end of the Presidentís speech, and her office said it was in response to the totality of the speech and what Pelosi saw as misinformation in it.
The video, labeled ďPowerful American stories ripped to shreds by Nancy Pelosi,Ē was posted on both Facebook and Twitter.
