Took civics in high school @ GCHS. It was taught from a completely agnostic political perspective and it provided a solid background for what would become my minor in college (political science).
Read everything from Shakespeare to Homer to Truman Capote and Aldous Huxley @ GCHS.
Then again, I took advanced courses - I donít donít know what the 30% of kids that donít show up regularly donít read.
Mr. Kasparovich was an excellent American History teacher and taught from the Revolution through approximately the end of WW2.
As for geography - that was covered when I was a Frohardt Wildcat.
If youíre curious, you might be shocked to learn that my numerous political science professors in college also taught from an agnostic standpoint.
Despite what you might read, not every university is the same as Berkeley was in 1969.
