GCSD is now in a place where they can't win.
If the school is not ready for habitation yet, then damned for keeping the kids from learning...
If the school is rushed and they do get them back in session immediately --- and then something down the pike goes wrong ---- then why were they not more careful?
I'd rather an administrator be pilloried for being too careful. In very different ways and outside of the realm of education...in a less public way... I have been there. I sleep better at night and more people remain on my side when I choose not to cut the corners.
Only the relatively ignorant naysayer types who would argue the spots off the leopard will be spouting off no matter what. But if you error against caution, then the whole damn town will suddenly turn on you.
Don't try to grease the squeaky wheels....do what's right.
Take your time and get it right.... it won't hurt little Sebastian and Caitlyn to still be in a classroom in June.....or even July.
Aren't all those rooms air conditioned any way?
Wait till December if you have to and go to August. : )
