With the Illinois gas tax set to double on Monday, a grassroots effort is gaining momentum as they hope to send a message to Springfield. The Illinois Gasoline Party is asking all Illinoisans to boycott Illinois gas stations all of next week in protest of the recent gasoline tax hike and the numerous other fee and tax increases recently enacted by Illinois legislators.
Lori Fuller is a member of the group, and she tells The Big Z they realize what they are asking of Illinoisans.

The suggestion is to either fill up before Monday, or cross the border into a neighboring state to buy your gas. You can find out more about the effort at https://www.facebook.com/groups/1272500136233092/
