Joe: I appricate this very informative letter you sent me....this helps a lot. It means I am not crazy when I try to explain my situation especially to my wife. I am from Teamster Local 705 Chicago, and they could give a crap less about what happens to their retirees, they got my 30.6 years of dues then they dropped knowing us guys. I am approaching 73 as far as I am concerned I would take my 3K a month till 2029 if I lived that long, then roll the dice.......The only news I receive about the pension is from other retirees who call into the all night truckers radio program 700WLW out of Cinci: Ohio I heard theres a caravan of busses headed to DC in mid April......and that is out of the Teamsters Local in Cinci.
