Anyway, Oct 30th I took it around the neighborhood for fuel, visit my parents, give the family some rides, and finished the night off with my daughter at a trunk or treat. All, never more than a mile from home.
Anyway, tried to fire it up to head home for the night and....no go.
Long story short, I flooded the carbs (dripping) and killed the battery before I discovered the nubber in the center of the distrubtor cap was worn down to nothing. Not getting spark out to the plugs.
Thankfully I could bend the rotor tab up and got contact again, and after working through the flooded carbs, I finally got it running again and got home without further incident.
Haven't had a chance to replace the cap yet, this month has been just too busy elsewhere.
...I do have one in my cart over at spitbits...
Wow 25 bucks for curbside service from the DMV, good deal!
Now time for a shakedown run?

I needed to get an adjustment to my title. Seems my old Utah title had the KC transposed to CK, something I hadn't noticed till I was well into my rebuild. Anyway, the DMV sent someone to my house, and I thought I would just be getting some official paperwork verifying everything was correct and ok to make the change.
The Lady was very nice, and familiar with the GT6, which really surprised me as there aren't many in Boise. Anyway, she was ok with the change, and then asked if I just wanted the paperwork, or she could issue me a title, registration, and plates on the spot.
Well shoot, I'm ok with that. She had a $25 charge to visit, and I was more than happy to pay that instead of taking a form to the DMV and stand in line for hours and hope the person on the other side of the counter wasn't having a bad day.
So, I'm legal now.
I just have a few things left before I can get plates... (I guess I could do that now actually)
Headliner, windows and all seals in. Door handles, latches and locks.
All the electrics work.
I just reconnected the fuel tank last night but I need to feed it some fuel. The sender and gauge work.
At this point, I guess my biggest hangup before getting it legal is tuning the carbs better. It doesn't like 1st gear unless I rev it. Needs an alignment too, and the interior finished
