I had to fix my compressor, and I built a paint gun stand and a matching torch holder
stands
The motor on my compressor (1985 Sears model) was replaced by some PO with another motor and it needed some modifications to get it to work. A few weeks ago the belt slipped off and I couldn't get it back on because the motor mounting bolts weren't easily accessible. So I had to modify it to make it better--and useable.
The left side bolts I couldn't even get a wrench or socket on, and the front ones I couldn't even get at. I didn't take befores, so here's the afters.
The allen bolts were in the center of the mount so it tended to rock to one side. I moved one to left side and it's more stable.
On to the car
I got some more dent removal and blocking done on the bonnet, the doors and valance. The window frames seems to be good enough.
I've got a couple good coats of 2k primer on them now. Next up, guide coat and a little more blocking and boarding--hopefully very little.
