I'll probably just leave the original in place and mount it in the driver's footwell on the side. I want to build a speaker box there, so I could incorporate it somehow.
Someone on triumphexperience built theirs onto a tray in driver's compartment that is hinged and drops down...

: Our cars have had very reliable electrics
: without blown fuses once we went
: through all the wiring. I hope your
: cars have been (or will be) equally
: reliable.
:
: Since your new fuse block has spade
: terminals on three sides, you will need
: to give careful thought to wire routing
: if you mount it in the factory location
: with wires passing from inside the car
: to the engine bay. The exposed spade
: terminals will also lack protection.
:
: Were this my car I would give
: consideration to the following two
: options to address wire routing and
: exposed terminals.
:
: Mount the fuse block on standoffs on
: the bulkhead inside of the car (fuses
: pointed toward the engine bay).
: Enlarge the bulkhead sheet metal
: opening so you have easy access and
: visibility of all 10 fuses and LEDs.
: Make a clear cover for bulkhead opening
: so the fuse block is protected but you
: can see the fuse LEDs.
:
: As an alternative, and since you appear
: to be redoing the wiring anyway, mount
: the fuse block in or above the
: passenger footwell. There is a lot
: more room over there. Without the
: pedal box and steering components there
: is also easy access.

: I'm leaning that way, but the practical
: side of me wants it in the stock
: location for ease of access. But, how
: often do we mess with fuses? Not very
: in my case.

: Nice work. I like it.
:
: If you are interested in others'
: opinions... I say mount it remotely out
: of sight and leave the original fuse
: block to keep the original look.
