As I mentioned in a previous post, MG cars and others used them in the mid-late 70's.
2 types, one which mechanically cut the fuel supply in a crash, and the more common dildo shaped electrical cut-out switch with a reset button in the top.
The mechanical ones usually failed shortly after being in service, they had a habit of leaking, and have been NLS for decades.
