I got them out. Same story as last time. I tried everything else first and then I set them up on a Bridgeport and drilled the bolts all the way through. When they are so rusted together I'm afraid that's the only way to get them out. Now to get those Subaru wheel bearings installed....

: I had a similar issue when I replaced the
: bushings on mine. My problem was, the
: 1/2" bolt got so rusted along with
: the metal rod that I could not get
: WD-40 to reach the inside of it. I
: finally got it off but unfortunately, I
: do not remember how I did it. Sorry

: Hello again.
: Working on a GT6 with rotoflex
: rearend. I'm trying to remove that long
: 1/2 inch bolt from the bottom of the
: rear uprights. The bolt holds the
: radius rod bracket on one side and the
: shock absorber bottom on the other
: side. The first time I tried this I
: scrapped the entire unit and the time
: after that I had to drill the thing out
: because it was so smashed over it would
: no longer go through the hole. Any
: great ideas on how to remove these???
: Thanks. P.J.
