I didn't look through the old posts but I seem to recall your crank clearances @ .003ish on the mains? Beyond that is a considerable bleed @ low rpm, coupled with suspect bleed around cam journals, it may just be all that thing will make at low speed.
I wouldn't be concerned at all unless something changes, nice job on that pump!
