The left-over rad switch just retards the timing when engine is cold, for a more complete burn and less emissions when it cold-starts and is rich.
The lack of a booster may or may not be an issue, depending on which master cylinder is used, the GT-6 had 2 different dual-circuit cylinders. They have different bore diameters.
