Question - have you confirmed you have good oil flow to the rear pedestal, though either the block passage, or an auxiliary oil line from the main galley to the tap in the left rear of the head? Usually the concern with these aux lines is too much oil flow.
Assume you confirmed the shaft was clear of obstructions by blowing air through it before you installed? Hardened shaft?
