Nipmuc River April 26th

Posted by Zorro on 4/23/2024, 2:44 pm

We will be launching at 9:30 from the access on Sherman Farm Road in Harrisville, RI. Change of clothing in a waterproof bag and/or wetsuit/dry suit is required. We will spawn upstream as far as possible and then return. We will break for lunch with the option of paddling Wilson’s Reservoir after lunch, about 3.5 miles away.

A double dip in one day!
Sounds good.
See you there.

I'll be there for the Nipmuc, may do the second part depending on time and pain.

28 degrees in Harrisville at 6:20 AM, up to mid 40s by 9:30 but the water will be quite cold. I'm likely going to wear the drysuit.
See you all in a few hours.
Frank

You should be good for a fair ways up after the one beaver dam. Enjoy.
