With winter's footprints in the past and some snow begins to melt at last.

With longer days and shorter nights

The wayward wings of March take flight.

The weather has been awfully cold
Limiting paddling to the bold
But now the robin, his song has sung
And in nine days, Spring will have sprung
With temperatures rising every day
Soon wetsuits and drysuits will be put away
A reminder, I don’t want to be rude
But it’s time for your membership to be renewed
I miss you all and hope to see you soon
On river, pond, lake and lagoon(?)
Enough of all this rhyming twaddle
Shut down your computer, let’s and GO OUT AND PADDLE
