SANTA PADDLES 12/2,3,4

Santa Paddles
The Kayak Centre is bringing back their Santa Paddle to escort Santa into
town and is interested in joining up with RICKA! They will be paddling to
escort Santa to town on Dec.2,3,and 4. Their portion of the paddle is
expected to last about 45 min.
Friday, Dec. 2, meet at the Kayak Centre at 4:30 to launch at 5:00. Bring
lights for your boat.
Sat. Dec. 3, meet at Kayak Center at 11:30 for a 12:00 launch. Earl MacRae
has volunteered to lead RICKA Paddlers on Saturday in an after Santa Paddle around
Wickford.
Sun. Dec. 4, meet at Kayak Centre at 11:30 for a 12:00 launch.
IMPORTANT
Notes: Paddlers are welcome to unload at the Kayak Centre launch across
the street from the shop at 9 Phillip St. Wickford, RI. Paddlers can then
park across the street in the main Wickford Center Parking area. Paddlers
are requested to RSVP to the Kayak Centre at funn@kayakcentre.com. Paddlers
will be asked to sign a free waiver to use the Kayak Centre's launch upon
arrival at the launch. The Kayak Centre requests that paddlers decorate
themselves or their boats to look festive.

RICKA Paddlers interested in participating on Saturday, please also RSVP
HERE so Earl will know how many paddlers to expect to lead.

I will not be paddling on Saturday - I will be going out on Friday evening.

Can non- RICKA members come paddle Saturday? I do have friends that are members but can't make it.

Yes Frank, wet or dry suits should be worn.

Grrrr. . . I'm not going to be able to make it after all. Between school and a huge rip in my wetsuit. I should have planned better. Like Susan, I'll be watching for the pictures! Have a wonderful time

And congrats to Frank and Jim on their 70th consecutive month of paddling. They are making plans for their 100th!
