We will put in at Bradford Landing. Shortly after the put-in are the Bradford Fish Weirs that can be run or portaged. I went down today and cleared out the portage path on the right. After the Fish Weirs, the river twists and turns through conservation land. Depending on the time we will stop for lunch at either the Polly Coon Footbridge (2-miles) or the beach off Narragansett Way (4-miles). Below Route 3 the river meanders through marshland formed by the Potter Hill Dam. The take-out is just above the Potter Hill Road Bridge at the Whiteley Preserve.
We will meet at 10:00 for a 10:30 shuttle. Bring a lunch.
