It was brought to our attention that the tides actually do not work for our planned launch site; the Seekonk River trip we planned might be more of a Providence River trip now. We will launch from Bold Point in East Providence (I confirmed with DEM that the site is usable). https://exploreri.org/siteReport.php?siteID=117&src=criteria . We will probably not be able to go under Route 195, so we'll explore the area south of it and probably more of the Providence River.

Be sure to leave ample time for potential backups on the way to the launch, although Saturdays don’t usually seem bad.

We are still meeting at 10:30am for an 11am launch. Boats over 12’ with spray skirts would be best, especially if we cross over to the hurricane barrier.
