Rick Brooks from the sea kayak group is inviting flatwater paddlers with boats 15 feet or longer to join in a paddle this Sunday.

< As a Level 2 trip, it will be no more than 6 miles round trip. We will also not paddle if the forecast is for winds of more than 15 knots or seas of more than 2 feet. The paddle from Seapowet heads south on the Sakkonet River and rounds Fogland. We will likely have lunch around the mouth of Almy Creek, and if there is enough water, we can poke around in the estuary.

Launch time will be at 10:00. My guess is that we will be back no later than 2:30.
