I ripped a hole in the latex bootie of my drysuit, so no paddling for me this weekend. Instead, I’m going to do a hike Sunday morning (March 5th) at the Mercy Woods Preserve in Cumberland. All are invited. Meet at 9:30 at the trailhead on Sumner Brown Road, about 200 yards off Wrentham Road/Route 121.

We’ll do the perimeter walk – Ridge to the east and Mercy to the west – about 3.4-miles. A moderately challenging route that should take about 1.5 hours to complete. Trail can get muddy in spots.
