BLACKSTONE RIVERFEST 8/12/22

Come out to River Bend Farm 287 Oak Street, Uxbridge MA to celebrate community, fun, and the Blackstone River! Connect with local community groups, enjoy music, food, craft beer, games, and arts & crafts, and learn about issues facing the Blackstone River and what you can do to help. This is a family-friendly festival! Feel free to bring personal kayaks, canoes, or paddle boards.

The Blackstone River Commons Group will paddle 60 miles from the headwaters of the Blackstone in Worcester, MA through its connection to the Seekonk River and on to the Narragansett Bay in Providence. 8/11-8/14, 2022

The trip will be loosely modeled after the Expedition 2000 that inspired many people to get involved in work on the river. The trip will connect community organizers, decision makers, artists and designers to reflect on the complex histories of the river and envision what a resilient, vibrant, and diverse future looks like for the river.
