Heading to Breakneck Pond in Bigelow Hollow State Park in Union, Ct Nov 4th, Thursday. I will be there at 10:30.
This is a walk and paddle adventure.
Wheels for your boat and cold weather paddling attire and a lunch are required. I will have an extra set of wheels.
Parking is 0.6 of a mile from the entrance to the park off of route 171. The portage along a well maintained forest service road is 1 mile. The paddle around the pond is about 3 miles.
