Hello, my father recently passed and he had a large collection of flow blue. He and my mother started collecting flow blue in the 1980's. Many of you know my uncle, William "Bill" Miller. Bill would travel from Illinois back to Southwest Missouri to visit family, and while here, he would go to local antique stores searching for flow blue. Soon after, my parents could be found at antique stores and flea markets searching for flow blue as well. We have kept a few pieces for memories, but we have chosen to auction the rest of the collection. There's probably around 1,000 pieces. He also had a few mulberry, carnival and Asian pieces that are also going to be in the auction. The auction is going to be held in Columbus KS, Saturday, October 14th at 10am at Bid D's Auctions - 219 W. Pine St.
Dear Eric, thank you for posting this notice for our flow blue members and others who love flow blue and mulberry. Do you know if the auction will be online? Your parents had lovely pieces of flow blue and other items that complement the pieces. I hope to be able to participate in the bidding. Good luck and best wishes.
Thank you for the kind words. Unfortunately, the auction company doesn't have the capability to do online auctions. I'm going to see if I can come up with something.
Here's a link to updated photos of the lots.. The auctioneer isn't capable of taking online bids, but the auctioneer said they would be willing to accept bids prior to the auction or they or they would willing to call someone if they're interested in bidding on a particular lot, when the lot comes up for bid.
