I have 1 plate which is very blurry. It has 3 small "dots" embedded in it. It also has the J Morley & Co name embedded on the back. Is this something of value? You can barely make out it's design. I only have this one plate.

The three "imbedded dots" are what are called "stilt marks". They formed when the wet-glazed plate was placed on ceramic stilts (also referred to as "kiln furniture") to keep the plate physically separated from adjacent plates in the saggar stack. There should be three sets of three such marks on the back side of the plate corresponding to the other arms of each stilt. The "J Morley" is actually an "F Morley" that had a corner of the back-stamp pressed too deeply, making that first initial look like a "J".
