Hi, I am hoping someone can tell me what year this was made and any information on it. It has what looks like blue 4a on the bottom and an M. I know it is Flow Blue but that is it. Thank you

Hi Brenda, My first response to your photos was that the piece is flow blue from Germany, perhaps made by Meissen. I've checked several marks books but your impressed "M" mark is very difficult to see, so it's nearly impossible to match with other marks. There are also several flow blue patterns named "Meissen." I looked at those and none seems to be an obvious match.
All that to say....It's still a mystery. Hopefully, someone else will be able to shed some light on your cute little piece of history.
