Contest K-1 ( and only, I am not very organized this year )

Posted by Kathy M. in CO on October 29, 2026, 5:44 pm

Here's the deal. You are playing for Faye's Ouija Board and planchet only. No doll or outfit. Just the dolly size board for your little ghouls. To play tell me about Faye. She is coming to live here and has a back story, but can you guess what it is? Bonus points for guessing right, but all stories will be entered in a drawing for the board. Contest open till Halloween night at midnight!

Participating but not entry for prize. Thanks!. Here is the story>>>

Faye recently discovered that she is really a witch.
She is an orphan raised by a good couple. They don't know anything about her biological parents. Only know for sure that she was born in Fort Collins, Co. She is traying to find who her parents were. A mysterious woman named Kathy, expert on some sort of adivination sent her to see a known sorcerer, famous in all Colorado and surrounded states. It is believed that this famous sorcerer is ageless. This sorcerer, only known as Deb, gave Faye a ouija board. They are planning a seance to contact Faye's biological mother... or father. Faye is getting ready for it with help from Deb, Kathy and a strange bad tempered woman named Muffy.

much like in Ed Wood's The Bride and the Beast (1958) (a fave MST3K commentary: "...never thought having a basement ape would turn out so poorly") she is trying to connect again with a certain someone, initials could be KK.

Sorry Daphne. I posted to the wrong comment. Apologies.

😀

"Let's ask Faye" was what all her childhood friends would say. "She'll know"....

little did that know that Faye wasn't psychic, she'd just go to her room and talk to her Ouji board! As a grown-up, she kept that same Ouji board with her and consulted it for decisions and wisdom. One day, it spelled out 'Colorado'. Then it said, "Go!". Well, that's all it took.

Oh! OH Oh Oh ( a la Horshack on Welcome Back Kotter) ...raises hand .......m.....

Faye looks a lot like the actress in the movie King Kong! Even though it was only a film, she was left with some post drama stress. Having to spend so much time being pawed by the ape, then getting swooped up to the top of the Empire State Building and dangerously dangled while planes buzzed by ....left her a bit frazzled.

She's possibly looking to the board to help her find a true love. 😘

Faye looks a little spooked and with good reason. In a
past life, she had a run in with some birds which
basically left her catatonic. However, she recovered
and I'm sure she moved to Colorado to get away from
those bad memories. Does she remember her past? I
hope not.
