Did you go to a wedding where something went wrong?

My daughter is getting married Saturday, so maybe I can get a tip on something to avoid

I'm sure it will be amazing Val! Can't wait to see pics!!

inside a venue with no AC during the ceremony. I almost blacked out but made it through (propped up LOL) I ended up with a horrible migraine, had to lie down in one of the spare rooms and missed the whole reception.

On another occasion a friend's brother got into a drunken brawl in the lobby at her wedding and had to be escorted out by the police.

Oh,Lord, a groom was dragged up the aisle, because he was so hungover/still drunk, he couldn't walk.

And I have a second one! I held my sister's bouquet at her outdoor wedding and was attacked by bees!

My hubby was at the back of the seating area and he says he had to go behind a tree to laugh because I was batting at the bees with the bouquet. I was standing right next to the bride, in front, of course. Too funny!

We went to a wedding (hubby's best friend) in 1984, where a bridesmaid fainted during the vows. >>

She floated to the ground like a flower petal. The grooms shoulders were shaking with laughter, after it was clear she was ok, of course - but the bride's hat (yes, a huge round hat) was flipping back and forth with what looked like a bit of annoyance. Seems the 16 year old bridesmaid had little sleep the night before, a big coffee and no breakfast. Add the excitement of the proceedings and yeah, FAINT! It was very sweet and cute, and I hope the bride got over it in time. ;>)

Was at one where the best man passed out. It was very hot in the church.

church to head back to the hotel so she could get it. My poor Mom thought Gail must have changed her mind! Meanwhile my other sister who was maid of honour had to use her bouquet to hide the bandaged hand she had managed to shut in a window the day before. The wedding started a little late, but all went well after that and they have celebrated their 40th anniversary.

The wrong cake was delivered to my cousin's wedding in very different colors then her theme
