Doll Divas

Ok, I never heard of Minnee dolls till I saw her post. I like the idea of dolls
playing with dolls, and have done photos of larger dolls playing with 1/6 scale dolls. I thought it would be fun to do 1/6 playing with dolls.
Duh.
First, these dolls are probably tinier than you envision. They are Teensy tinsey, iddybiddy,eeensetinsy SMALL. GOT IT?
Add to that. Blind box which I hate. So? Why the heck did I buy one? I think I was just annyoed at buying groceries and the doll popped up and I said, "Ok". 🤣I will just say, that if you do not have a pair of needle nose tweezers .... not pliers, tweezers ... do not even attempt this. OK?
For those who cannot accept a negative response to a doll. PLEASE. Stop reading here. I cannot do bullshirt. I tell you my truth and you can do as you will. Terrified? Stop now.
These tiny itty bitty smaller than you would ever think dolls, are sold in a blind box format. Crap. Ok. That said. I was ordering kitty litter and a doll seemed better. So I ordered one.

Blind box is the FU of dolly world. So, I got the doll in the polka-dot bikini. Just useless clothing options with this doll. So.

She comes with the "ittsy-bittsy, tiny-weinnie-polka-dot bikini. and really not much else.

Had it not been a blind box, I would have chosen a doll that had more costume options. But at least she did not have colored hair.
I have to say that her little face is cute.

All this said, the doll is in it's own way cute. The face in close-up is cute. The problem is the hair . Look at the way they did the hair. For a doll thIS tiny. the rooting should have been much finer. Now, you say, "but they are only 16 bucks" ... well I think their price to consumers should have been $8.95.
But I am finding her cute. I don't hate her. We'll see later on.

I think the hair should have been rooted better at the forehead hairline.
The rubber costumes fit and and go on the dolls. That's good.
I feel a bit 'ripped off" by having gotten the bathing suit doll, but I bought a blind-box so it is all my fault.

I hope you named her Dolly P...because she sure looks like a young Dolly...very cute!

I agree about the FU blind boxes. I like to see what I am choosing but with that said I have bought many of the blind box items.

...happy with your doll, though. I love the bathingsuit one - she's just so beachy. I like the bikini, the sandals stay on so well - and the sarong hangs perfectly. My doll's hair is fine, but I know I've gotten Barbies and Tonners with rooting I didn't like, so it's disapointing when that happens.
Strangely enough I haven't had trouble putting on their clothes. They aren't going to be everyone's cup of tea, that's for certain. I enjoy blind boxes and do a variety of them. In this case I was lucky - I got 6 with no duplicates. Then I ordered the two I didn't get from sellers online. Paid a little more, but didn't have to buy a bunch of boxes to get those two. I don't want the rare, so I'm good. I hope you'll try another one, to get a friend for your beachy girl. They can sip drinks by the pool. Maybe give beachy girl a pretty strip of material tied around the hairline - a pretty look. Anyway, I'm sorry if I led you down the wrong garden path. I do have Minnee pics to post, so don't look! ;>) I'm building Rolife rooms, so I will be active with them. ❤️

dislike the little doll, but I'm not planning on another. She'll be a toy for other dolls. Good suggestions about the hair band. And, if I have fun with dolls playing with dolls, I might even make her clothes! LOL😀
