I have to go to the dentist today, any funny dental stories?

Here is mine.
I hadn't been in for a while for a cleaning since my daughter was born.
The hygienist looks me over and says "I see we haven't been had a cleaning in 5 years"
I said in surprise "You too?"
She said, horrified "I meant you"
I said "well, you said we"

Moral of story: Don't annoy the person with sharp tools who is going to put them your mouth

When getting me ready for an x-ray, my dentist said "bite down hard", I don't think he meant >>

As a child there was no freezing to fill a cavity. I pulled the armrest off the chair as it hurt
