Theme: yellow >>> various dolls

I am not sure if I am showing these dolls by age or by height, but I think it works out the same.

Little 4.5" babies from Ashton Drake that work perfectly with 16" fashion dolls.

Tiny Tooloo by Helen Kish. Tooloo is about 5" tall.

8" tall Zsu Zse by Helen Kish
She can paint everything yellow if she likes!

Well, yellow hair.....

16.5" fashion dolls, dressed by me and I swear there is a stripe of yellow in all of these. LOL

Tonner Theatre de la Mode

A painting by one of my former college students, Magda Bowen Thornten. The painting is doll scale and I love it.

Yellow and BLUE! How would you feel if you had 8 babies?!

Thanks. That MH display was "a thing". It said more time, LOL. It was displayed for two years though

If any of you live near Goldendale, Washington, it would be well worth a trip to the Maryhill Museum of Art to see the original miniature mannequins dressed in the fashions that were created for them at the end of WWII.

I've never been myself but would dearly love to see them someday! I have a copy of the revised 2nd edition of "Theatre de la Mode - Fashion Dolls: The Survival of Haute Couture". The background text is fascinating and the colour photos of each doll are amazing.

I had to cancel an "insiders" visit to museum to see Theatre de la Mode. Luckily I saw many at UFDC!

My good friend was a single mom with twins...whew! Now they are fabulous and brilliant adults. She did such a good job as a mom. I bet you did too!

Mine are 27 now. I have a son 4 yrs older than the twins.
