Theme (ish) : does absorbing a new culture count ?

This doll is old and her fashions are old but together they’ll continue to be my favorites for a long time yet

Learning a new culture and the traditions and events that are meaningful to the people is fun… January 6th is Roscón de Reyes, the celebration of the three kings who arrived to acknowledge the birth of Jesus… apparently kids in Spain don’t open presents on Christmas Eve or day, they wait till the night before Roscón de Reyes… Santa is almost not even in the picture …the parade is somewhat the equivalent of Macy’s Thanksgiving floats
