Christmas Shopping....>>>

As always we start our Christmas at Van Hages Garden Centre (just down the road from me) This has been a tradition for about 28 years, since Sophie was a baby. It like wonderland with the most amazing displays BUT it has sold out to a big garden centre and well sad to say... it shows!
What they did have was giant books for the displays, but everything else... same as last year and no where near as big or impressive as it used to be. The tree ornaments are the mass produced stuff you can buy anywhere. Cheap as chips stuff! I would always need two visits and spend £££ but not this year, this year I brought some socks and three tree ornaments! Not one single thing I could use with my dolls, OK I did sort of find one thing I hope I can use but we will see?
So anyway this was it for this year

That's 14 photos last year 26 (a mix of old and new) Before when it was the real Van Hages about 36 photos on average. Oh, and look how many people this year, no only a couple and the old days shoulder to shoulder.

Love the decorations. It is sad that they changed things.

It is well-decorated! So sorry that you are missing the charm and items that you were used to.
