Last Night's Event

I provided my edible insects table at a local church's Halloween (Reformation Day

)
event last night. A little girl, 7, decided I needed help. We'd never met, nor had I ever
met her parents, but she was allowed to hang out with me. Her little brother went with their
mom and infant sister. Wow, she was a bundle of questions and talkativity. She was fun.
She left when her dad came, but returned at the end to 'help' me load the car. I was about
done, and she spotted my drink mug still unloaded. She grabbed it and asked where it went.
So she 'helped'. She was fun, but maybe dangerously trusting? I was a total stranger
to her and her family. I guess I did have a connection to the organizer from way back.
Maybe he said I was harmless.

When the crowd got there, I had no more time to take pictures...

I didn't hear last night's count, but last year we had over 400 kids plus parents.
The organizer, one of the preachers, said while he was doing announcements and came
to this event, one of the guys in the congregation called out, "Hey, will the
bug guy be there?"

LOL! Yep, the bug guy was there!
