THEME.....>>>

Not much on fantasy BUT my one and only IT convention was The Fantasy Convention in 2017.
So to make this last the week, I'm starting with a story and the prelude to convention. Those that have been around a while will be bored with hearing this again but just scroll on, please!
Anyway for those with nothing better to do than hear this again... here we go!
The convention was in Orlando and I live in UK so a plane trip was required. I always travel with my daughters Sophie and Amy as well as my mum.
So on the plane and all looks to be OK, there is a big storm coming in from the south east but that should not affect us so we think all is well. We take off and a few minutes into the flight pilot come over tannoy he can smell smoke, nothing to worry about but we will be circling (dumping fuel) and going back to airport. Will be landing in about half hour. THEN a few minutes later we will be landing asap and brace etc.... followed by MAY DAY MAY DAY!!!! Someone has a heart attack, someone else a panic attack... some crying and we all hold hands. Looking out window as we land and side of runway covered in emergency vehicles. We land and firemen rush on with heat seeking things... nothing found! Turns out the smoke was coming up from a fire in Portugal!

The person who had a heart attack is removed and the one with a panic attack calms down. After a few hours off we go again
