Was there one specific doll that started you collecting?

Yes! I stole my big sister's Blonde Bubblecut when I was 5 y.o.! She never got it back! >>>

But I didn't start collecting dolls until Xmas 2000 when I found my sister's Barbie doll collection with cases on the top shelf of our hall closet. What a fun xmas that was with my Mom & Sister having a blast looking at all my sister's old Barbie Dolls. Nan let me have all of them and it triggered my doll collecting career! I am so happy that I chose doll collecting as a vocation; I LOVE ALL dolls!

It was actually Ideal's Chrissy. Discovered Ebay and so many dolls

ohhh! Now i get it: Suntan Tuesday Taylor was my first FASHION doll. Teen Skipper got me in AGAIN.

i had Catwoman, Bionic Woman, Wonder Woman, and other female SUPER-HEROES, but Suntan Tuesday Taylor was the first non-super-hero themed doll that got me into Fashion Dolls as a kid. In the 90s, Teen Skipper got me back in.

Not a doll, but an outfit. I always wanted Guinevere as kid, Got it as an adult

I get every Cleo i can afford of G3 Monster High.
She's my favorite, and i love how her skin is gold, instead of human.
I get every Sport'n'Shave Ken (1980) I find and can afford. He's the perfect Ken for his ultimate articulation, friendly smile, and realistic hair
