NT: Aglow in Rococo

Just one new outfit and Wee Beastie to share this week. I try not to buy patterns any more. Patterns are one of the many things I have a collecting problem with, along with dolls, doll shoes, fabric, and so much more! But once in a while, a truly unique pattern will scream "Buy Me" and this was one, with it's skirt that looks like it has pannier-like hoops (wide on the hips and but relatively flat in the front and back). I purchased it from Sylvia Bittner of Hankie Chic.

Great photos...and in the 50's 60's...the flat 'panel or flush front was very popular, mostly because when you sat down with petticoats you wouldn't be chewing on poor or material and then your gloved hands could rest without wrinkling the front..+ also made you look thinner in front.
