Lost My Entire Doll Collection-Must Vent

After MY Fathersdeath I HAD TO LEAVE MY HOUSE FOR A NURSING HOME,Ihad a stroke and i'm completely paralyzed on my left side.they only ;et me take three shoeboxes of dolls and my laptop and a bag of clothing.i had to leave my doll behind including some rare Poppy Parkers,which i packed and had to leave behind my cousin wound up selling my dolls in an estate sale and i only got 100 dollars for everything,including my hardcover Pathfinder books.ihAVE Aspergers syndrome and no job currently i'm slowly trying to build up my doll collection that has to fit in one closet.i convinced my cousin to replace my favorite doll Dramatic Bride Momoko who i found at a good price on ebay

That’s sad. Sorry. Hopefully you recover and can go back to work soon.

there is low / no income legal help available depending on your area. You should talk to your caseworker at the nursing home.

This is disablity / elder abuse if they sold all your stuff and took the money.

i'm fortunate that my doll collection had a focus on Asian dolls,most of which are fairly reasonable on Ebay,and that i didn't have a lot of customized or vintage in my collection.Im mostly upset that my dolls did not find a good home.my cousin wouldnt give me the time to find homes for my poppys or silkstones

I am so sorry. I hope you find all of your favourite girls again.

thanks everyone for the kind words
luckilly my doll collection had a focus on Asian dolls,most of which can get at a reasonable price
except for some of the Momokos andM isakis
