The Olden Days

A line from a Beatles song hits me: "Each day just goes so fast. I turn around it's past..."
It seems like this was such a long time ago, but it's only been a few years.

I always thought it fun when the grandkids would explore my plastic world people.

And just this weekend, the same little girl, though exploring her own plastic world,
still eagerly asked to set it up on the boards I made for running 1/64th scale cars on.

I remember as a kid, getting into an old TV or radio with TUBES! They looked like
space cities and I'd do frequent flyovers with my eyes and wonder what went on in all
those little buildings.

Now, the circuit boards look more like power plants or sewage processing centers.

Lots of fun----such great memories!!

I actually think circuit boards laid flat still look like cities, though.
