Any advice from hair re-rooters on how to keep the skein . . .

of hair from becoming a tangled mess during the process? I'm ready to re-root a Gene head, but I've been hesitant to start. My past re-rooting projects turned out fine, but the skein of hair always became such a tangled mess of spaghetti that it made the process so much harder. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I rubber band 1 end.

Thank you. I've been using a twist tie, so a rubber band might be better.

I only pull out a few, even one, at a time & loosely hold the rest because it wants to pull msg >

out too & it becomes like teased hair! I'll post photos of my set-up today.

cookie sheet. Then I spray a light mist of water on it. I separate the hairs I need by running the tip of the needle from end to end.
