NT: Wednesday is Washday?

Thrifted Goodie Batch now much nicer CLEAN!

I use oxi-clean and soak in color batches and similar fabrics in hot or warm water--almost everything turns out great---wary on flocked materials though. Clothes are rolled in thick towels flat, then hung up .

I'm about to do this with a bunch of vintage stuff but I worry about the colours running!

These were mostly 'everyday' clothes, and so cottons and very little bleeding. OLD fabrics definitely separate, (Old Mattel reds are the worst) and if you are worried about running, soak by themselves in cooler water. Whites, Light colors I use very hot water. Vintage you just have to decide if it is okay dirty or take a chance? Flocked fabrics or artificial leathers cold water only for a short time, or spot clean with a wet cloth.

Some dolls are going to be getting some nice clothes.

Yea, there were some goodies in there---and really in great to excellent condition. Everyday clothes

Looks like you found some great items, Sandi! I truly admire anyone who can look beyond the grime and see the treasures underneath just waiting to be revived.

LOL, I have small clothespins, but my fingers aren't lol.
