THEME.....>>>

Late with theme this week, but all is now well. OK, so it's OK.... sort of? Just about? All right so do you want to know what I'm rambling on about? No! Well, I'm going to tell you anyway
Last November I ordered some floor samples
In the January sale I arranged for a guy to come measure up. In March I paid for it and arranged for it to be laid in three groups. This was for the whole ground floor.
BUT first I needed to clear, clean and do a little decorating. Yesterday I had the last part laid BUT then the doors did not close so this morning I had the doors re-hung after taking off a little from the bottom. Now we are moving all the boxes back. My table is a big glass thing and is sooooo heavy. I had to move it back with my mum's help, so pleased she is still in good nick at 88!
So tomorrow is unboxing, then Saturday I'm getting Christmas out of the loft and I hope by next weekend that my house will look more like my home!
Oh, and if you are wondering NO I did not finish the painting THAT will resume next year!

to be dreaded! We had our attic rehabbed, so empathize. Weeks moving decades of boxed clutter. Tossing some stuff, donating other stuff, cleaning and re-boxing in plastic bins stuff to keep. But all new insulation, and the area sanitized.

Now we have to build up some of the flooring because the new blown-in insulation is so high, and shouldn't be smushed. Hubby has to do some careful building up there so he doesn't fall through the drywall (which is basically the ceiling over our living quarters.) Thought we'd be done before the holidays, but it may be a few more weeks..... ugh!

Honestly, the thought of even getting new carpets (which we need) is too much for me

the inside of our house repainted and have new flooring put down, so I feel your pain!! I have lots to clean up in my doll rooms!!

Yes, it's a nightmare and I have had to most of it on my own!
