Tell us a short story about one of your dolls who had a terrible vacation or trip. What happened?

There will be 3 prizes awarded to 3 people, randomly (though if your story is really funny, valmaxi might be swayed to randomly find you as one of the winners)

My son was mortified! We took her around campus on the tour with other potential students, to the tailgate parties, and even to the demo game! My son was mortified...... but......

His friends LOVED Barbie!!!

New York for the weekend. We left our dog, Patsy at home as our next door neighbor checked in on her a few times. Well, we returned home to find some of my Barbie dolls scattered all over the place, I was mortified!! There were some chewed off doll feet, doll heads, limbs, ripped fashions etc!! It was bad, real bad. I just cried and cried. My parents cleaned up the mess and luckily, they were able to replace the dolls that were destroyed. The next time we went on vacation, Patsy came with us.

she drove through the traffic of Denver, braved the fires and land slides of I 70, thorough the Glenwood springs area, came out on the other side of the mountains and ended up in Grand Junction. She realized that this was the realm of Dasha, and decided to pay a visit. Once there, Dasha was NOT amused to see another doll who thinks she is a queen diva, After being tortured by being made to look at chocolate and cocktails with out being able to sample them, she woke up from her nightmare screaming. She vowed to never travel west again.

We went to visit my grandparents who lived in a town about 120 km from my town. I took my Susi with me. Few days later, on the way back home, my mom placed my doll in one of the bags.

Once at home when I got my doll back…oh surprise! She was separated at the waist! The thick rubber string joining her torso to her hips and legs had broke. I found out that my mom had placed a yuca (the root of the cassava plant… not the same as yucca) on top of he bag with the doll!

I was extremely sad. My mom fixed the doll with masking tape but after that trip it wasn’t the same with my doll.
