Not theme, but some play time with Color Reveal Barbie... >>

There's been a lot of negative response to these dolls, but there are some of us who really get a kick out of them and actually play with them. I find them charming in a vintage 1960's Pixie kind of way. So I went from wanting one or two, to wanting all five of them. I got a couple wigs from Marcia at Facets, and they're fun too. One wig that came with a doll actually fits ok enough for my amusement. I don't think the others do, but I'll be checking them. This is part of the negative responses the dolls are getting, and I understand it, except I was drawn to their Pixie side, so I don't care about the wigs particularly. I had two tubes left for Christmas week, which Mattel sent me to replace two of the dolls I'd already opened, whose eyes didn't change with cold water - and when we did them I found the 4th doll, Panda, that I wanted - and is she wonderful! Also, a second Unicorn. Anyway, after Christmas we went to Target and I bought the four remaining tubes, in hopes of getting the last one, to complete the set. Last night, because hubby is sick with an awful head and chest cold, I decided to do my Color Reveals, in hopes of cheering myself (nothing brings on my anxiety attacks like my husband being sick ). So here are pics of the outcome - and pics of the other two as well. Thanks for looking! |
And the two tubes that Mattel sent...
All for now!
