Dream Barbie dolls/sets/accessories

Hey all! I've always been more of a player than a collector, and I'd love to get some opinions Fein others!
1. What themes did you want to see in play figures as a kid?
2. What kind of gear did you want Barbie to have?
3. What would you change on a modern play figure/doll?
4. When did you stop playing with figures/dolls, and why?
5. What do your kids want in a play figure/doll?
6. What do you look for as a collector?

I think Mattel should definitely lose the pink---on anything that realistically wouldn't be pink. I

I think Mattel should definitely lose the pink---on anything that realistically wouldn't be pink. I didn't get to play much with Barbie as a child, but I love realism and fun/real things...I guess I'm not into fairies/ballerinas permanently disfigured and gowns, gowns, gowns...

It's kind of fun to see I'm not the only one who wanted these sorts of things!
I used to make my Barbie swords, armor out of bark or tin foil, and ride them around in my brother's Tonka dumptruck to escape the apocalypse 😂

The more little accessories I can get the better, and I like them in something other than pink!

1. I wanted more licensed stuff as a kid. Anime, comics, movies etc. We are getting more now. >

2. She already had a ton but going back to #1 I would've like more accessories like weapons (swords and the like) and realistic cars. I still own my childhood Barbie Ferrari from the early 2000s! Also more playsets setts, clothing, accessories like the Generation Girls. Those were my favorites as a kid!

3. The modern dolls, Barbie especially have such a lack of quality. More realistic and trendy clothing. This is one reason I collect IT and other Japanese brands over Barbie.

4. 12-13 years old. I felt peer pressure to put them away (after all playing with dolls was babyish! LOL). Middle school was rough on a kid! After going to high school and discovering Momoko, Misaki and FR I got back into dolls!

5. I have no kids LOL. My young relatives don't play with dolls much but they seem to love the licensed stuff like Disney Princesses.

6. High quality clothing, good hair, attractive faces and value for my money.
