Yesterday I said goodbye to my dad, it was a hard day with many tears. But we had lots of support and gave dad a 'good send off' My girls wanted to say a special goodbye, mum and I did not think they would be able to so a friend went up with them. It was only a couple of lines and he did try to help but my Sophie was going to do it how ever hard it was I'm SOOOOOOOOOOO proud of my girls. I did make a video of my dads life and I hope you don't mind if I post it, over the years you guys have always listened to my family ramberlings. Anyway it's on youtube so you can just scroll past...
A few dolls that make me thin of my dad... When I was seventeen he gave most of my dolls to the horrid girl next door but these I managed to save.
Over the years I re-brought a lot of the outfits he gave away along with a 'few' dolls
On the day my dad had his third heat attack and had stents fitted this doll arrived. My dad was in a specialist heart hospital called Harefield Hospital so I called her Holly Harefield
Dad was always a lot of help with my dioramas he was a model railway enthusiast and would hep with setting up scenes
My dad had a very sweet tooth and loved Rainbow cake. This is dad on Fathers day last year. Coincidently the last thing he ever eat was Rainbow cake
The last photo I have of my dad was a day in Brighton a place we all loved
