Ladybugs can stink if you squish 'em, but BMSBs stink if you startle 'em. AND, their stink attracts more! They arrived in north eastern USA and are spreading westward. I've seen one, so far. Ladybugs are seeking shelter for the winter now, as are the BMSBs. Some species of LBs (Asian Ladybug, I think) are known to give a little irritating bite. Are yours that type?
