Since my stories don't always occur in daytime...I try to create 'night'. It doesn't always work...LOL

This apartment is basically on the floor under the house table. So, a single battery light and no flash makes it feel like night.

This is one of two lamps I use for focused light. This one has a frosted cover, so the light is diffused. I have a mini gooseneck light that is really strong, I also have a mini clip light I can use to light a specific small area.

Here again is an interior with the shop lights off and just one battery light on...no flash.

My fairytale story had an old castle---lit by candles. And this stairway---this is normal light.

This is with faint focus light coming from a low angle.

I actually turned everything off in the shop and shut the door, placed the light very low, bedroom scene.

I don't remember if I did the window light intentionally or not or how?

Vickie and Joe's at night, just the battery light on and a distant shop light on. (Two pop bottle bottoms put together with mini lights in it

My photo program with my Mac allows me to do vignettes...created this by fuzzing out the perimeter with dark--which enhanced the night mood.

Date night in a restaurant, but I used a night window view.

Outside, trying to create the 'street light' kiss.
Used my bright mini spot straight above.

Bright sunny day on the beach--kicked up the colors in editing, contrast up and exposure.

I think I took more photos for this series than anything. Dark-dark room mini spot between greenery ==trying to get light on the background sunset and on the faces took forever. Lots of playing with in editing also.

I remember I flipped the hammock over-the bright colors of the fabric were too much---so this softer

    the whole scene is diffused.

This one worked well, naked in the hammock that flipped and dumped them on the ground...

This one didn't work, the light on the sunset lit too much.

Vickie and Joe again (clothed) in regular light

Same pose with one focused spot. Definitely moody romantic!!
